How It Works
School PTAs and PTOs will submit a pitch video to be selected to compete in PTO Playoffs. The submission deadline is Friday, November 18, 2016.
School PTA and PTO selections will be announced by Friday, December 2, 2016.
Team fundraising kicks off Monday, January 16, 2017, and teams have until midnight Friday, May 19, 2017, to acquire individual donations and corporate sponsorship for their schools.
On Friday, May 19, 2017, there is a mandatory pre-game event hosted by our title sponsor. On that day, participants receive game-day paraphernalia and competition rules.
Saturday, May 20, 2017, is game day! All teams must arrive by 8:30 am to check in at the registration tent.
Up to 50 teams will compete in a series of outdoor games and trivia for a chance to win the $10,000 grand prize.
Points will be tallied by judges, and the grand prize winner will be announced at the end of the competition.
Top fundraisers will be announced at half-time.
Grand prize winnings and sponsorship donations will be mailed to schools via certified mail 30 days after the event (minus the 20 percent administration fee).
Please be advised that any team that signs up to compete in the PTO Playoffs must be verified by the school’s administration before registering.
Each school team will receive 100 tickets to distribute to staff, students, family and friends. School spirit is one of the judging factors so be sure to encourage your fans to show up in their most creative school paraphernalia!
